What Petiquette offers
Every dog and every household is different. Pick where you need help; we'll shape the plan around your goals and specific needs.
In home basic obedience for puppies and adults, plus behavior-specific work for the things that actually have you stuck. As an AKC Evaluator, Carly also prepares dogs for Canine Good Citizen certification, runs occasional group classes and workshops, and offers Board & Train stays.
For the busy weeks and the high-energy dogs. A brisk neighborhood walk or a real trail hike to burn off steam and keep your dog balanced, booked around your schedule. Bring a second dog along for a little less per pup.

When you're away, every animal in your home is treated like Carly's own, not just dogs. Boarding in Carly's home, drop in visits in your home, or daycare, with photo and video updates so you always know your pets are genuinely happy.
Puppies under 1 year: +$5 home boarding, +$3 drop in, +$4 daycare.
Boarding requires proof of vaccination and a recent fecal test.

About Carly
Carly Rosenthal has spent over a decade helping pets and their people understand each other. A certified dog trainer since 2015, she holds a B.S. in Animal Behavior, the CPDT-KSA credential, and serves as an AKC Evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen program.
Her approach is balanced, with positive reinforcement as the foundation: reward based, science based methods come first, with a broader toolkit used thoughtfully when an individual dog genuinely needs it. No templates. Just a plan built around your household, your dog, and the specific behaviors you're working toward.
When she's not training, you'll find Carly hiking, kayaking, or exploring somewhere new with her dogs Miko and Mara. Miko is even an AKC Canine Good Citizen himself, proof that the work is always personal. Back home, her cat Tyson holds down the fort.
Most of all, the pets in her care are treated like her own. That's the part the certifications can't print.

For in home services farther from Brookfield (roughly 15+ miles), a travel fee starting at $10 applies and scales with distance, and I'm always happy to make the drive. Board & Train, daycare, and group classes have no location limits, since those clients come to me.

Take your dog's training out of the classroom and into the real world! We'll start at The Downtown Dog Spot for a warm-up and a quick game plan, then set off on a walking "crawl" through dog-friendly downtown Waukesha, practicing focus, loose-leash walking, polite greetings, and settling amid real-world sights, sounds, and distractions. We'll end at the farmers market with time to check it out on your own.
A fun, social, and educational outing for dogs who are comfortable around other dogs and people in a group setting. Each dog's family also receives a take-home handout to keep building on what you practiced.
$35 per dog, includes guided instruction and a take-home handout. Space is limited to keep the group small and manageable, so reserve your spot early.
Prepare your dog for success! This six week class is designed to build reliable manners and confident behavior in real-world settings, covering all things public manners (walking on the leash, polite greetings, and more) with focused coaching on the specific skills your dog needs the most.
The first session is at The Downtown Dog Spot in Waukesha, along with one other session in the series. The other weeks, we travel to local, dog-friendly stores and public spaces to practice in real-life environments. Ideal for dogs working toward their Canine Good Citizen title, or any owner who wants a well-mannered, confident companion in everyday life. Includes one make-up week.

Start your puppy off on the right paw with this six week group training class! We'll cover key commands such as sit, leave it, wait, stay, and loose-leash walking, plus socialization and the unique needs of a growing puppy, including common puppy behaviors like potty training and nipping. Young dogs ready to learn or brush up on basic obedience are welcome too! Includes one make-up week.
Every enrolled pup's family also receives a take-home Puppy Guide packed with tips and resources to support your training between sessions and beyond. At the end of the course, you'll have the option to take the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Test, an American Kennel Club program that recognizes responsible owners and puppies who are off to a great start with manners and training.
